4th January, 2025: WINTER WORKSHOP - Bruckner's Ninth
The Redhill Sinfonia Winter Workshop is becoming an extremely popular event with musicians in the area - nearly 100 string players participated in 2024's day-long workshop on Rachmaninov's Symphonic Dances. In 2025, we will rehearse - and give a workshop performance of - Bruckner's Ninth Symphony.
15th March, 2025: CONCERT - Modern Blockbusters
Another young soloist - Florence Eggleston - will feature as soloist with the orchestra playing Lowell Liebermann's Piccolo Concerto. Either side of that, the orchestra will performance Marquez's Danzon No. 2 and Shostakovich's epic 5th Symphony.
5th July, 2025: CONCERT - Classical classics
Mozart's dramatic Piano Concerto No.20 in D minor is paired with Schubert's 'Great' 9th Symphony in C major.
